How is this different from a large canal cruise?
Our boats carry a maximum of 12 guests, versus the 100+ on the big glass-topped barges. You get a real guide you can talk to, an open boat, and quiet canals the large boats can’t enter.
Is a small-group cruise good for couples or families?
Yes — the small boat is relaxed and social. Couples get an intimate cruise, and families can move around, ask questions and see the canals up close rather than through glass.
How much is a small-group cruise, and how long is it?
From €30 per person for a 75-minute cruise, including VAT. Departures run Thursday to Sunday at 13:00, 14:30, 16:00 and 17:30.
Where does the cruise depart from?
Amstel 1, Amsterdam — central and easy to reach by metro, tram or on foot, near Waterlooplein.
Do I need to book in advance?
We strongly recommend it. With only 12 seats per departure, small-group cruises fill quickly, especially in summer and at weekends.
